Sergant
james heller returnes from Iraq after finding out that he’s family is declared
dead.
The news
makes him rejoin the military in the fight for NYZ against a virus that’s infecting
humans.
He finds
Alex mercer and receives great deal of powers, the same as Alex mercer.
Alex Mercer
is the leading character in the first game, ill gets back to him lather.
Alex makes Heller
believe that the black was were behind the murder of he’s family,
But he will
soon discover the truth and the big haunt will begin.
Black watch
is the organization that is responsible for the creation of the virus and is in
charge of eradicating it from New York City.
Alexander
j. mercer was a victim of an experiment held in a genetic engineering company.
He escapes;
he gets discovered and attacked by military operatives. He gets shoot in the
chest by several bullets.
He
discovers that he possesses powerful shape shifting abilities, ability to “consume”
people to gain their memories, skills and appearance.
He’s on a
mission to uncover the truth and decides to find and consume those related to
the conspiracy.
The virus
infects people and creates monsters, it is called Black light.
In 1969 the
government tested the virus predecessor in hope, Idaho, designed to target
predetermined races. It mutated into something far deadly, and the whole
population was infected.
In
prototype 2 you’re ending it all.
My view:
I didn’t
finish the first game and didn’t get so far, I wasn’t a big fan of it to be
honest.
So I don’t have
much to compare, although I can say much about the environment.
It is more detailed,
it looks better and it’s bigger. It definitely has more life than the first one.
It’s much
more fun to run on the buildings here. And the city is pact of infected people,
monsters and military. It is always something going on and it is chaos
everywhere.
You can
power up your abilities anytime. And of curse do side missions.
You can
kill and crash whenever you want to.
You have
many cool abilities similar to the first game, so you can be creative when it
comes to the kills. You have the powerful once and the fast once, abilities to
kill monster take down choppers and tanks. You can also hijack them.
You will be
sneaky in many times, depending on the mission, you will have to dress as you enemies
and fight whit them to get more info, and when you get what you want, stab them
in the back.
The game is
really cool, but I’m still not the biggest fan. I did some side missions just
to see what it was about, and then just did the main once.
Sometimes
the missions felt like they al where the same, dress up in a disguise, get in
their base and eat a scientist, you will be doing a lot of this.
But it’s
fun when you can “fly”, and run on buildings.
The game isn’t
terrible; I did enjoy most of it.
Apparently
you can run the game in new game plus.
